Door latch repair in general usually has to do with the cable or rod linkage between the door handle and the actual door latch. Dealer service centers and your local repair shop will tell you that it can’t be repaired. They’ll also quote you somewhere in the range of $250-500.00 to repair it, but not before requiring you to come in and pay $75 for a complete diagnosis. Oh yeah, you’ll lose your car for the day too!
